Cosy, well located, and a cut above fine - what I mean is, it's a lovely rustic farm house and for the price you get more than you might expect. Recommended

Quiet location with scenic views on the road 1.6miles to Walberswick. Slightly deceptive run down look to the outside on arrival . Self contained apartments were a pleasant surprise. Clean, roomy and every need catered for .

Lovely rural location, quiet and secluded. Rooms (Stayed in 'Wayfarer' , upstairs on right) were tidy with good facilities, with a toaster, microwave and plates and cutlery. Had complimentary cereal and milk and some yoghurt, which was a useful touch. Being one of a number of units, you should be aware of others and not being noisy. Wasn't a problem for our group. Walk to Southwold is lovely and across a nature reserve, about an hours walk to Southwold centre. Lots of local sight seeing and the beach is probably 25 minutes walk (Walberswick) or 50 minutes to the beginning on Southwolds beach by the harbour. Dogs are allowed, just leave an extra tenner in the envelope provided and follow the rules. Washing up is from water in the bathroom, in a bowl, no problem for us, but was amusing using the drying rack in the bathroom for plates. I would stay here again.

This accommodation was excellent. Although we did not see anyone we were aware that we could contact the owners at anytime. The accommodation was immaculately clean. Very quiete. Breakfast was very generous. Views were lovely. We will return.

Nice peaceful location. Easy to access the beach. Plenty of fresh air, long walk in the forest. Our dog had plenty of excitement within the lodge complex. The accommodation was well catered. All the essentials were provided. Breakfast and washing machine was provided. Bedding and towels were clean but bit old (well used) to my taste. Its seemed there were recent repairs done in the 2b/r and the toilet. The dust was still there. Notice few cobwebs hanging in the b/r ceiling near the outside door. Boiler noises and noisy lodgers upstairs disturbed me with my sleep. Besides these minor issues I would recommend people to stay/ lodge there.

I've used several of the rooms in this cottage a number of times now, for business trips. The rooms are lovely. Obviously it's an old building and so not naturally warm, but the heating is effective. The little food prep areas have everything you need to prepare a simple microwave meal. The wifi isn't great but I don't mind being offline when there. Cheryl who looks after the cottage is really friendly and helpful. Cheap and cheerful but I like it. I'm thinking of taking my wife and dog for a weekend there at some point.

Looks very rustic from the outside but the rooms are comfortable with all mod cons. On suites are good and a continental breakfast is provided. The stairs to the first floor are not suitable for small children and old people. The setting is (very) rural with a 40 minute walk to Walberswick.

Haven't been able to stay, due to Latitude festival being cancelled but am hoping to stay next year instead. The staff has been very helpful in getting me a refund for my non-refundable booking, due to the unusual circumstances. Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it!
